We are a friendly NHS GP Practice in Central London - Grays Inn Medical Practice (with three sisters practices Deleham Gardens Surgery and Fortune Green Practice in North London and The Vauxhall Surgery in South London)
We are looking for a full-time experienced Health Care Assistant
We are seeking someone who is positive, enthusiastic and experienced with good team working skills and flexibility.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and displaying excellent interpersonal and customer service skills under pressure.
Must be IT literate, able to work with and embrace new Technology
Abide by confidentiality Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
Must be personable, polite and approachable
Must be a team player
Must be adaptable to change
Must be aware of their own professional boundaries and highlight any concerns or areas of required development.

Clinical skills health and well-being
- Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you have received appropriate training:
- Completing full NHSHC assessments once trained appropriately and under supervision of PN / GPs
- support the clinicians with completing LCC templates/NHSHC templates and completing care plans for those under clinician supervision
- Urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by the pathology laboratory
- Measuring and recording following physiological measurements in routine presentations:* Once trained to do so.
- Blood Pressure
- Pulse Rate And Rhythm
- Temperature
- Height And Weight - Body Mass Index
- Visual Acuity
- Venepuncture
- Spirometry
- Health advice for patients who seek support with losing weight and those at risk of diabetes including referral to DPP.
