Partnership are looking for an enthusiastic, and forward-thinking experienced Part Time Operations Manager to join their existing Management Team to ramp up our organisational support and deliver a Modern GP Practice Model. This Post is for 30 hours per week over 4 days.
This post is a shared role with another Ops Manager who make up a team of four (4) members of the senior management team (SMT). We are looking for a very high level of expectation and so the candidate must be confident at making a real impact.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting new role which will play a fundamental part in the smooth running of the Practice and will provide the post holder with the opportunity to demonstrate and apply their leadership and management skills towards the next level, within a supportive and proactive Management Team approach. Working around constant change the postholder must be resilient and tenacious and be able to work under pressure.
Our management team support over 55 clinical and non clinical staff and consists of a remote Practice Business Manager, Practice manager and 2 x Operational Managers which the post holder will be one of. This shared leadership builds heavily on great teamwork, communication and peer support to ensure the very best of peoples skills and experience combined. Its a great role to move into and develop and the right candidate can make a huge impact.
This part-time role requires working flexibly across two sites at Earby & Colne, and may include occasional work patterns between 08.00 & 1830hrs. We expect the working week to be over four days - Mon, Wed, Thu & Fri, - with TUESDAY being your normal day off in this pattern.

With 10 GPs, a team of 7 experienced
practice nurses/ Nurse Associates, 3 Physician's Associate, our own pharmacist, health
care assistants, ARRS PCN staffing and a very experience team of Care Navigators. All with excellent knowledge of services in this
area, we believe that we are well equipped to support our 15,000+ patients health and
care needs.

Deputise for and
support the practice manager
Jointly oversee accuracy
and robustness of reception and administration rotas, including annual leave
and absence
Provide initial
guidance and advice on patients complaints
Quality control
of the coding and summarising process
Assist or lead regular
team meetings. Prepare agendas, take minutes as appropriate.
Provide
administrative support for trainee GPs and medical students
Provide
administrative support for monthly MDT palliative care meetings
Assist with staff
training and induction plans as necessary
Manage the
practice website and social media account
Premises and
security management shared responsibility
Template and
population management updates, amendments importing.
Provide emergency
cover for reception if required.
