Ideally, you will have a passion for working with digital technologies and you will take a lead in developing our remote and e-consulting capability. It is likely that you have experience working in General Practice and you are looking for an opportunity to expand your leadership skills in a highly effective and quality driven team.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be an integral
member of the team and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care
setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients. Whilst a focus for the post-holder
may be digital, the fundamental requirement is for a team-based clinician who
cares about others.Clinical Responsibilities will include
a variety of duties including face to face and telephone consultations and visiting
patients at home. The emphasis on remote and digital consulting will be a key
feature of the post-holders responsibility, working with the wider team and
outside the practice where necessary to develop future facing access points for
patients and staff. The post holder will be expected to undertake all the
normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary
care including a share of the duty doctor rota and support of junior doctors
and allied health professionals.
About us
Team working is central to the culture of our practice and we
support each other throughout the day. We are a large modern training practice,

Pendle East PCN, comprising 5 GP practices and a rapidly expanding range of
additional roles.
We
have twice been awarded RCGP Quality Practice Award and we strive to maintain
high standards in everything that we do. Our team comprises 5 partners and 5
associate GPs working between 5-7 sessions each. The clinical team are actively
engaged in all aspects of clinical, teaching and research developments. We
explore dynamic progression from Associate to Partner on an individual basis.
The
wellbeing of our team is important. Holidays, rest time and time for
professional development are encouraged. Coffee catch-ups, time for lunch
together, tea (and cake) all encouraged but not compulsory!
