Salaried GP

Job summary

We are looking to appoint a friendly enthusiastic salaried GP to join our supportive and caring practice situated in the heart of Covent Garden for 4-5 sessions negotiable

• List size 4900 and growing
• SystmOne clinical system
• Salary £11,000 per session, negotiable based on experience
• Clinical days run to time due to good patient access. Admin supported by GPA's and currently on on call responsibilitiesfor GP's
• Low visiting practice - approximately one home visit a month across the team
• Medical Defense top up fees included
• 6 weeks annual leave (pro rata), NHS pensions
• Open to support portfolio working GPs or help develop that protfolio, including GP trainer roles
• Access to well supported SPIN fellowships (if within two years of qualifying)

Main duties of the job

The post holder will manage a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Consultation sessions including face to face and telephone
• Clinical administration
• Attend educational, multidisciplinary, practice and clinical meetings (paid)
• Attend training and events organised by the practice and the ICB/Federation (paid)
• Take on lead responsibilities of any agreed role in clinical management (extra time to be allocated within paid sessions)
• Participate in an annual performance review
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the practice

We have access to a number of other ARRS staff including a first contact physiotherapist. Enhanced access services are provided by our Federation, not the practices.
