An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible IT Systems, QOF & IIF Administrator to join our friendly, forward-looking, caring and innovative general practice team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting in the managing of performance across a regulated area, along with managing and maintain IT systems.
As the IT Systems, QOF & IIF Administrator, you are expected to work with and support the established Operations Manager & Executive Director to ensure the smooth running of the IT systems within a busy GP surgery. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Executive Director and clinical staff, you will practively ensure the IT systems remain compliant, whilst also having to deal with ad-hoc issues as they arise. You will also assist the Exeuctive Director & GP Partner with QOF & IIF administration.
You will be happy to be the first point of call for our varied mutli disciplinary team and willing to support & assist them with their issues as and when they arise.
This role is faced paced, variable and will suit someone who is able to adapt to any challenge thrown their way.
Main duties of the job
Primary Responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the Operations Assistant.
- The provision of a local support service to all staff, resolving issues with IT systems and equipment
- Effective maintenance of all organisation IT infrastructure
- Perform regular system checks to maximise performance
- Provide training to all staff as required, ensuring the effective use of all systems
- Ensure staff adhere to practice policies regarding IT security and ensuring conformance to Information Governance
- Deliver the IT related elements of the staff induction programme
- Build, generate and carry out searches as required by the organisation team to enable reports to be produced and action plans devised
- Support the team in the use of the clinical systems
- Act as a liaison between the organisation and external agencies, for the timely management of all faults
- Ensure that the organisation website information is correct and that the details are in accordance with the GP website benchmarking and improvement tool
- Configure searches and interpret data for audit purposes
- Send out mail merges for a number of campaigns, i.e., flu
- Ensure all staff have the appropriate smart card access to the clinical system
- The configuration (activation and de-activation) of all staff email accounts
- Supporting the Executive Director in the writing of all IT related policies and protocols and user guides
- Support the GP Partner & Executive Director with QOF & IIF performance
About us
Priory Medical Centre is a well-established Warwick GP Partnership with a list size of approximately 19,000 patients and one branch surgery. We have 6 GP Partners and a full complement of additional staff including Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants and administrative support. We are a recognised training practice for GP Registrars, and are consistent high achievers in QOF & IIF. We are currently rated Good by the CQC.
In June 2021, the practice moved into a brand new purpose built surgery designed with patient care in mind. The new building will be a modern, energy efficient & fit for purpose building that will enable the practice to provide better services to our patients. As a result of having the new facilities available, the practice closed the main Cape Road surgery, along with the Cape Road branch surgery. The new facilities will act as the main surgery, with a branch surgery still available to patients on Woodloes Park at the following address: 1 Brese Avenue, Woodloes Park, Warwick, CV34 5TS.
