Physician Associate

Job summary

Working as a Physician Associate at The Brooke Surgery will be a rewarding experience. The whole team values the role of Physician Associates in primary care. We currently have 8 Physician Associates that have progressed in their skillset to provide a variety of different services, and manage multiple conditions.

You will be supported in developing your skills clinically by three GP partners, who are skilled trainers, and teach on courses for allied health professionals; and non-clinically, by an experienced management team. We have a well-supported team of allied health professionals that already consists of Physician Associates, Paramedics, ANPs, Pharmacists along with doctors and trainees.

Computer expertise is a must-have. You will be working with multiple IT systems (EMIS, DocMan, online appointment system) that will be taught on induction.

Salary:

£44,446.68/year (£21.31/hour) doing 40 working hours/week. (Rate and hours negotiable, depending on experience and the applicant's personal situation. Part-time hours available).

If the application is successful, please note that pay progression is dependent on performance. And is reviewed regularly. As an example, it is not uncommon for successful Physician Associates to receive multiple pay reviews in a 12-month period
