Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced part time Practice Nurse to join our
clinical team in our friendly practice in Blackheath SE London. The Blackheath
Standard Surgery is a busy training practice with a supportive team and a
commitment to provide caring, quality healthcare for our patients.
We offer a competitive salary and leave allowance. Practice Nurse
experience is preferred, but we are willing to offer training for the right
candidate.
Main duties of the job
- The successful applicant should have a good general practice experience in managing long term conditions including asthma/COPD, diabetes, hypertension, child immunisations, cytology and travel vaccinations.

opportunity for a dedicated, experienced Nurse to join our 2 GP Partners, 2
Salaried GPs, 1 Practice Nurse and an experienced and supportive
reception/admin team. We provide a high level of care to approx 6,800 patients.

Practice Nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, health
promotion, as well as actively supporting the practice management team in the
reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure.
The
ideal candidate will need to be proficient in all aspects of treatment room
nursing and have the ability to work within a team.
Your
skills should also include cervical screening, childhood, and travel
vaccinations as well as family planning and sexual health. In addition,
qualifications and expertise in chronic disease management is preferred.
