Job summary

Salary £23,283.00 - £25,457.00 (pro rata) depending on experience

Full Time 37.5 Hours per week (8am to 4pm Mon-Fri)

NHS General Practice seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible person to join our lively practice team.

This is a key post in our practice: we receive masses of information every day electronic and paper based, about patients and other matters, from a variety of sources and it all needs organising, coding and allocating.

You will have a high standard of IT literacy and be able to learn and apply concepts of clinical coding and workflow management. You will help optimise the workflow with your excellent organisation and methodical skills, which aids in providing top quality patient care.

Please be aware that it is a legal requirement for all our staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by 1 April 2022. If successful in your application, you will be required to provide evidence of vaccination or appropriate medical exemption.

Main duties of the job

To manage the information received by the Practice to enable provision of excellent patient care and ensure the patient records are kept up to date and accurate.

To improve the quality of the data held.

To facilitate sharing of patient records and data with other providers of health and social care.

An Approved Training Practice. Member of Harness GP Network within Brent CCG, which is part of NW London Collaboration of CCGs of NHS London. We are a Partnership of 6 GPs . We employ Associate GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physician Associate, Practice Nurse, Healthcare Assistants / Phlebotomists. We also teach young Trainee Doctors, many of whom plan a career in general practice.
