This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and collaboration. Youll work alongside our Clinical Pharmacist and wider team to enhance safe prescribing and medication use across the practice. With opportunities to train others, lead on safety improvements, and be a key contact for patients and pharmacies, this role is both impactful and rewarding.
Main duties of the job
Youll support repeat prescribing systems, handle medication queries, lead on medicines reconciliation post-discharge, and work closely with patients, the clinical team, and pharmacies. The role involves data audits, admin leadership, and staff training. Its a dynamic post where your input will directly improve patient care and practice efficiency.
About us
We are a supportive teaching practice with a friendly multi-disciplinary team of other dedicated and highly skilled healthcare professionals comprising of 6 partners and 7 salaried GPs, with an experienced ACPs who deal with home visit, a physiotherapist, Physician Associate, 2 Pharmacists, a pharmacist technician, 3 nurses and 3 HCA's, providing care for patients and their families in a way that we believe is best, delivering high service standards, sharing best practice and actively improving the way we work.
