We are looking for a motivated and committed team-player to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are a dispensing practice and part of a local Primary Care Network. We run a thriving Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinic.
Sellindge is a beautiful rural village and is close to Ashford with its International Station and high speed network to London and yet within easy-reach of attractive coastal areas, beaches and the famous Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
About us
We are a friendly rural practice with 2 GP Partners and 1 Salaried GP. Small, friendly nursing, dispensary, reception and administration teams support these GP's. EMIS web clinical system is operated at the surgery.
We offer a number of non-core services to our growing population of 5,000 plus patients including dermascope.
We have a midwife, physiotherapist and social prescribers working on site to give our patients easy access to these services.
Our ear, nose and throat service provides specialist appointments to all patients registered in an East Kent practice.

Surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries and triage calls.
Attendance at in-house meetings, significant event meetings and other meetings as deemed necessary
Home visits may be required
Checking and signing repeat prescriptions both paper and electronic.

In general the expectation will be for the successful applicant to undertake all the normal duties associated with a GP working within a primary care setting.
