Qualifications
Essential
- Emergency Care Practitioner or Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic Practitioner with HCPC or NMC registration
- Advanced clinical skills qualification or evidence of equivalent experience
- Full clean UK driving licence
Desirable
- Degree in health care (or equivalent)
- Teaching and assessing qualification
- New to Primary Care Pathway
- Independent non-medical prescriber
Experience
Essential
- 5 years post registration working experience
- Experience of working as a Paramedic Practitioner or Advanced Practitioner in one of the following areas:
- General Practice
- WIC MIU
- GP OOHs
- A&E
- Management of patients with common acute conditions
- Experience of working to protocols, guidelines and Patient Group Patient Specific Directives
Desirable
- Experience of treating and managing patients with longterm conditions
- Experience of working in Primary Care in an emergency care practitioner role
- Experience of using SystmOne
