Salaried GP

The Park Surgery

The closing date is 11 May 2025

Job summary

We are a friendly, busy, dual-site practice serving 24,000 patients in Herne Bay on the beautiful north Kent coast. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed Salaried GP to join our supportive and well-organised team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a patient-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, and able to travel between our two sites.

The role can be part-time or up to 8 sessions per week if desired. The minimum sessional rate is £11,500 with the opportunity for a higher rate if taking on a share of on-call or list responsibilities.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for providing high-quality medical services to our practice population. This includes delivering an excellent standard of clinical care while complying with the GMS contract and adhering to GMC standards for good medical practice.

The post-holder will contribute to the effective management of the practice, lead by example, and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

About us

At Park Surgery, we are committed to supporting you to be the best you can be, confident in your care and proud of the outcomes you achieve for your patients. We strive to create an environment where all staff feel motivated, valued, and engaged in the running of the practice.

Our vision is to be the practice where patients wish to register and staff want to work. Although we are currently rated as CQC Good, we are dedicated to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance the quality of care we provide.

Park Surgery has a strong reputation for GP, student, and nurse training. We are passionate about growing our own talent and fostering an environment of personal development and mutual learning.

Our partnership is led by five partners and supported by a highly experienced and comprehensive management team. We are an integral part of the Herne Bay Primary Care Network (PCN), working closely with our neighbouring practice to provide integrated, patient-centred care.
