We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Practice Nurse or Nurse Associate to join our friendly team at Claremont Bank Surgery.
With a list size of just under 8,000 patients, we are a close-knit, supportive practice known for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Our clinical team includes four GP partners, one salaried GP, a Physician Associate, two experienced Practice Nurses, and a Healthcare Assistant. We are now looking for a third Practice Nurse to complete our nursing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys variety and is passionate about making a difference. Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience and training in respiratory care (asthma/COPD), or someone keen to undertake further training in this area.

Main duties of the job
As our new Practice Nurse/Nurse Associate, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care within a small and supportive clinical team. Your day-to-day duties will be varied and rewarding, including the management of long-term conditions such as asthma and COPD, Diabetes, cervical screening, childhood and adult immunisations, wound care, and health promotion.
You will work both independently and alongside our experienced team of clinicians to support patients in managing their health and wellbeing. There will be opportunities to lead on specific clinical areas depending on your interests and experience, with a particular focus on respiratory care.
This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys building strong patient relationships, values continuity of care, and is keen to contribute to service development. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and supported with further training where needed.

The Practice Nurse will work as part of the wider practice team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to our patient population. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to provide general practice nursing services, supporting patients in managing their health and long-term conditions, and promoting health and wellbeing within your scope of practice.
