Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable GP with excellent communication and clinical skills to join our well-established, vibrant and innovative practice for 2-4 sessions per week (negotiable). We offer 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave pro rata, flexible working days. Partnership opportunity available. The position is subject to background checks including enhanced DBS check.
Main duties of the job
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Our thriving, GMS practice, located 30 minutes from Cardiff, comprises 1 GP partner, 1 sessional GP, highly-skilled nursing staff and an efficient admin and reception team. We operate from modern, purpose-built premises and provide high quality care to 2,900 patients. The practice is supported by an excellent community nursing team, HB pharmacist with direct access to physiotherapist, GPSO and mental health support. We are a high achieving, well-organised practice and use INPS vision. We also provide a wide range of ES and women's health including LARC services.
