Job summary
An exciting
opportunity has arisen to work with a dynamic and friendly GP practice located
in the idyllic town of Bradford on Avon (with river, canal and architecture), 8
miles south east from Bath.
We are seeking
a self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive individual to join the Practice Management Team, responsible for all patient service aspects of the
provision of high quality patient services within a safe, efficient working
environment.
The post
holder will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operability of the
practice, motivating and managing staff, optimising efficiency and overall
performance.
Main duties of the job
You will have a comprehensive knowledge of SystmOne (TPP) clinical system, you may currently be a Team Leader looking to take the next step into a management role and you will be able to work until 18:30 at least 3 nights a week. You may wish to work 4 long days or start your working day a little later on the days where you work until 18:30.
You will have a strong understanding of Primary Care and the needs of our patients and staff.You will manage a small team, of co-ordinators who manage the medical receptionists. You will help this team manage/develop and recruit the appropriate staff and be accountable for setting and ensuring delivery of their targets.
You will be happy to take the lead in any patient services queries or complaint and be able to diffuse challenging situations. You will enjoy problem solving and have an eye for detail, especially when creating staff or patient information leaflets/newsletters.

ourselves on delivering safe and timely care, enabling patients to optimise

current Practice team consists of 7 GP partners, GP Associates, Retained GPs,
as well as a multi-disciplined team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists,
Emergency Nurses, Practice Nurses, HCAs, a Paramedic and an Emergency Care
Practitioner as well as non-clinical staff. We also have a Clinical Trials team who are passionate about bringing break-through treatments to our patients. We are in the process of expanding
the team to incorporate further areas of expertise into our multi-disciplinary
team.
