Salaried GP

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly, forward thinking multi-disciplinary team. Sessions are negotiable but ideally we would offer the successful applicant 4-6 sessions per week. We would hope to support any existing interests that successful applicants may have.

Main duties of the job

A GP to provide medical services to individuals in their local community. Their duties include conducting physical examinations of patients, creating treatment plans and giving general health advice.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Complying with all legislation applicable to practicing medicine; conductingphysical examinations, tests or procedures to diagnose patients; maintaining accurate medical records for all patients; making recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve the patients quality of life; prescribing medication, treatment or therapy to patients; explaining test results and medical procedures to patients.

Didsbury Medical Centre is a busy, innovative, training Practice which is conveniently situated on the edge of Didsbury Village and in the heart of the local community. Our current list size is approximately 16,500.

We are based in South Manchester with great transport links and are part of the Didsbury, Burnage and Chorlton PCN.

The Practice has a large multi-disciplinary team which includes 4 GP Partners, 7 salaried GPs, Physician Associates, Nurses, HCAs, Physiotherapist, Mental Health workers, Pharmacists, Care Co-ordinators and a large team of admin/reception staff.
