Medical Administrator (37 hours per week)
Due to a member of our team retiring, Castleton Health Centre is looking to recruit a
Medical Administrator to join their friendly team.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and a positive and friendly telephone manner.
The role will include making appointments both face to face, by telephone, raising prescriptions, scanning documentation into the clinical system, identifying and coding on clinical correspondence, opening and distribution of post, dealing with patient queries, supporting the clinical team with general administration tasks as needed and general administration duties within the team.
The post is for 37 hours per week which will be worked Monday Friday and between 7.45am and 6.30pm (hours to be agreed).
About us
The practice is based in the centre of Castleton and offers healthcare to a patient population of just over 10,000.
The team is made up of the various clinical roles to support our patients and has a strong secretarial/administration/reception team to support the running of the practice.
The practice is a training practice with currently 5 trainee Doctors doing their training with us.
