Job summary
Town Gate Practice has an exciting opportunity for a salaried GP with a view to partnership to join our team. This vacancy has arisen due to the upcoming retirement of a partner and is ideally for six to eight sessions a week. We are flexible with how this is achieved.
We are a 9000 patient, partially dispensing, Emis practice with two sites, the main site in Chepstow Community Hospital and the branch site a mile away in Sedbury. The semi - rural location in the beautiful Wye Valley has excellent motorway links to Cardiff and Bristol.
Main duties of the job
The job plan includes a mix of face to face and telephone appointments, a share of on call and home visits plus dedicated administration and CPD time.
About us
The current clinical team comprises of 6 GP's, 2 Advanced nurse practitioners, 2 Pharmacists, 3 Practice Nurses, 3 Health Care Assistants and a cluster employed Physiotherapist. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment and hold weekly clinical meetings.
The modern purpose built premises within Chepstow Community Hospital also offers direct links to District Nurses, Physiotherapy, Palliative Care and X. Ray.
We are a training practice for Gwent VTS Scheme Registrars and Medical Students from Cardiff University.
We offer 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave
Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.
