Job summary
Hillside Practice is looking for a medical receptionist to join our existing team, who needs to be a reliable, motivated and flexible team player with excellent communication and IT skills.
This is a challenging role working in a
constantly changing environment, the ability to multitask is a necessity.
Previous primary care experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
Main duties of the job
Your role will involve general reception/administration duties, including answering the telephone and face to face or online queries. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the most appropriate service or health care professional for their needs in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Computer data entry, processing and recording information in accordance with practice policy.
You will offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors. Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary healthcare team, secondary care and other associated agencies.

Hillside Practice is a busy semi - rural general practice with 9400 patients, with an extensive and supportive clinical and admin team.
We are a teaching practice for Medical Students, FY2's and GP Registrars working in a lovely modern purpose built premises.
