Job summary
We are looking for a clinician qualified GP, to
join our friendly, supportive GP Practice.
Ideal candidate would be GP who acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care
for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment,
diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe,
clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic
skills, for patients within general practice. They will work collaboratively
with the rest of the GP, ANP and Nursing team to meet the clinical needs of patients and sustain
the strong ethos of the Practice.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be an experienced clinician acting within their professional
boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history
taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They
will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including
assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The
post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making
process. They will work collaboratively with the GP and Nursing team to meet
the clinical needs of patients and sustain the strong ethos of the Practice.

GP practice with 20,500 patients over two sites (large practice with a
small team ethos).
Five long-standing Salaried GPs .
MDT also includes GPs, 7 Nurses, 2 Phlebotomists, 4 Practice Pharmacists,
MSK practitioner, Mental health Practitioner, Physician Associate, Social
prescribers, and a visiting Paramedic.

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients presenting with an undifferentiated diagnosis
Clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiological and psychological perspective, and plan clinical care accordingly

Participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children
Advise, support and administer vaccinations for patients travelling abroad, where appropriate

Ensure awareness of sources of support and guidance (eg PALS) and provide information in an acceptable format to all patients, recognising any difficulties and referring where appropriate
