Job summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Salaried GP to join our friendly and forward-thinking team based in the heart of Foleshill, Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic clinician who values patient centred care and wants to make a real difference in the local community.

As a GP, you will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse patient population, working collaboratively with a supportive multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for the management of acute and chronic conditions, preventative care, and health promotion. You will also play a key role in the development of services and clinical governance within the practice.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties Include:

  • Conducting face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations with patients.
  • Managing a range of acute, chronic, and complex conditions.
  • Providing health education and lifestyle advice.
  • Supporting QOF and other clinical targets.
  • Engaging in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the wider practice team including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and on the GP Performers List
  • MRCGP
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
  • Experience with EMIS is desirable
  • Evidence of safeguarding and mandatory training
  • Willingness to engage in clinical meetings and contribute to practice development
