Job summary

Station View Medical Centre is a busy GP surgery in Bishop Auckland, we are looking for a part time Receptionist to work within a team of medical reception and admin staff.

Main duties include, call handling, liaising with GPS/CLINICAL staff, communication between patients and third parties, admin, back office duties.

Main duties of the job

Previous experiencewith system one would be an advantage, however training will be provided. General computer skills are essential.

Communication skills, face to face in addition to verbal over the telephone is a must.

About us

Station View Medical Centre has a team of 9 receptionist, 2 medical secretaries in addition to 2 Admin support staff.

We have 5 GP Partners, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners and 9 staff members within the Nursing Team.

We pride ourselves with a high work ethic, working in a fast paced medical practice driven by a high level of medical care.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working within both reception teams, primarily supporting both the Bishop Auckland Branch one day a week while supporting the Branch Site at Coundon on a Friday.

However due to the pandemic we are looking for a staff member that is flexible in working hours to meet the business demands until normal working bases resumes.
