Job summary
We are looking to recruit a part-time admin secretary with some reception duties to join our friendly team. Person should have good communication skills, strong computer skills and experience of working with public. Person should have experience of working in a GP practice with EMIS computer system
Main duties of the job
a. Help in processing telephone requests for appointments
b. Help in processing requests for repeat prescriptions
c. Signpost patients to correct services
d. Input data and update patients records
e. do e-referrals and check the status of all e-referrals
f. Support clinical staff with tasks
g. Maintain clean and tidy working areas all the time
h. Carry out system searches for QOF achievements and book patient for their regular checks
i. Attend practice meetings and follow practice policies andprocedures
j. Any other duties which may arise due to other receptionists' sickness and holiday cover
