An exciting opportunity for an ARRS GP tojoin SAPA5 Primary Care Network

Are you a passionate and innovative GP looking for a dynamic role that blends patient care with exciting development opportunities? SAPA5 PCN is seeking a motivated GP to join our progressive and supportive team.

We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable GP who is passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to the ongoing development of primary care services.

We are seeking applicants within 2 years of CCT who have not yet held a substantive position post qualification. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • An interest in service development, innovation, or leadership within primary care.
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking approach to general practice.

Main duties of the job

This is a 6-session role, incorporating 4 clinical sessions and 2 sessions dedicated to development or project work, offering a perfect balance between hands-on patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Newly Qualified General Practitioner with under 2 years from gaining their CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training).
  • MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners).
  • General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
  • Full GMC registration.
  • National Performers List registration (England).
  • Appropriate defence indemnity (MPS/MDU).
  • Eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
  • Current UK/EU Driving Licence.

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working in a primary care environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Not previously been substantively employed at a GP Practice.
  • General understanding of the primary care contract.

Desirable

  • Experience of using Emis Web
  • Experience of using TPP SystmOne
  • Experience of Clinical Leadership.
  • Experience of Quality Improvement Projects.
