LONG TERM LOCUM GP

Job summary

We are looking for a committed, hardworking, competent clinician who is able to provide good quality care to our 6900 patients. Based at Romiley Health Centre, Chadsfield offers a competitive £10k per session salary with very flexible working hours. The role is to cover our CD and a partner on the mentorship scheme. You will be supported by our innovative organisational structure, designed to minimise and remove administrative tasks, allowing our GPs to focus on their time with patients. 

Main duties of the job

You will be supported by our innovative organisational structure, designed to minimise and remove administrative tasks, allowing our GPs to focus on their time with patients.We have 6 GP’s ( 3 partners/3 salaried GPs), 1 F2, 1 PN, 1 TNA and 1 HCA, Physiotherapy services, Pharmacists, Well-being Services (mental health signposting service and counselling), Macmillan nurses , Carers clinics. 

We have an active and supportive Practice Champion group. We achieve maximum yearly QOF points and our last CQC inspection was GOOD WITH OUTSTANDING CARE. We are an innovative practice, e.g. being early adopter of Workflow Optimisation to reduce paperwork workload for all GPs. Our Partners hold roles as Clinical Director for the Primary Care Network; GP Appraiser; F2 trainer; Medical Student trainer (gold award).Our excellent secretaries, receptionists, prescription clerk, administrators and apprentice work hard to support the clinicians to deliver excellent medical care. We are a 5 minute drive from J25 of the M60 and a short drive to Manchester City Centre. Excellent rail and bus services close by. Good local schools and friendly local village atmosphere.
