Job summary

Are you naturally organised with strong communication skills? Would you like to complete a Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship?

Working in a busy GP Practice you would be working in a varied office role within the Business and Finance Admin team.

Main duties of the job

Qualifications: The applicant needs to have English and Maths GCSE grade C or above, if you do not have this qualification you must complete this before taking the end-point assessment. This can be completed alongside the apprenticeship.

About us

We have a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson which rotates every 6 months.

In addition to this we have a Senior Management Team (SMT) made up of 10 staff covering all functions within the Practice:

Job responsibilities

Main Duties/Key Tasks: (Full Training will be given)

Assisting the BusinessFinance team on current projects which will involve:

Working on the clinical system EMIS

Working on monthly reports for QOF and Enhanced Services

Ensuring all patient coding is correct for reporting purposes

Provide data to assist with creating reports this will involve liaising with all internal departments for the relevant information.

Process any other reports or requests for medical information in a timely manner.

Updating patient medical records with new information

. Filing and assisting with other general office duties.

Provide administrative support for the Practice Manager and the Operations and Facilities Officer as required.

The list of job responsibilities is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
