Job summary

The Operations Manager will be based across our two Whaddon Healthcare branches - Whaddon Medical Centre and Water Eaton Health Centre.

There are various aspects to the role, which are detailed in the job description.

Job responsibilities

OverviewMain Duties and Responsibilities

HR

Maintain accurate HR records and generate insightful reports for management.

Reporting including the NWRS

Manage benefits programs and ensure their effective communication and administration.

Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

Ensure all checks have been carried out including DBS, Medical Indemnity, Performer list, and registration with the relevant GMC/NMC

Manage internal HR communication.

Preparation of payroll including overtime data, unpaid leave and any relevant deductions

Lead on the wellbeing of staff and management of the noticeboard and wellbeing and including reporting on the QOF Indicator

Calculation and management of leave entitlements

Management of tracker to ensure polices are reviewed along with the new production of new policies as required.

Management of relationship between Whaddon Healthcare and trainee employer/deanery

Operations

  • Assist with the development and performance of the projects and contracts within the organisations, helping to improve the delivery of excellent service to our patients.
  • Achieving agreed performance measures and objectives, maximising opportunities, and the growth of Whaddon Healthcare
  • Project Management for any new projects at practice level
  • Contract review and performance monitoring e.g. covid, flu, health checks
  • Project Management of all Practice/QOF indicators to ensure delivery throughout the year and achievement.
  • Maintain the complaints tracker and chasing unresolved queries with the relevant team.
  • Reporting to NHSE annually on complaints
  • Assist with bookkeeping and payroll.
  • Lead the delivery of Significant Event including meetings and report on lessons learnt. and disseminate across the practice any learning.
  • Support the delivery of a successful CQC inspection.
  • Key contact for day-to-day operational issues within the practice.
  • NHSE/ICB reporting as required.
  • All other tasks not listed here or below that relate to this post and the smooth running of the practice as new requirements emerge and/or changes are introduced and implemented.
