Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable HCA/GP Assistant to join our team. We have a new position available to work 30 hours per week and you will work between our Fulwood and Ingol sites.

Days of work: Monday 8am - 1pm, Wednesday 8am - 6pm, Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 6pm

Experience working within General Practice or a hospital setting is required.

Main duties of the job

As an experienced Health Care Assistant you will have pre-booked clinics to see patients at the practice. You will have experience of conducting health reviews, measuring blood pressure, dealing with chronic health conditions, and it would be advantageous if able to administer flu vaccines and B12 injections.

You will be a member of a very dedicated team which includes 5 GP Partners, a mixture of Salaried GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 Nursing Associate, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, a dedicated Pharmacy Technician Team and a robust management / clerical team.

You will be required to cover holidays and sickness at short notice and be as flexible as possible.
