Job summary
CB1 Pharmacy has been established by a specialist team of consultants, who are looking to provide a exception online pharmacy service in dispensing medical cannabis and delivering discreetly to the patients door.
CB1 Pharmacy prides itself on supporting patients that may be suffering with pain and improving their lives with access to medical cannabis products.
We are looking to expand our current team to help meet the demands of the business and therefore provide exceptional service to the patients.
The role will be a Full time (37.5 hours), offering a competitive wage of up to £32 000 per annum.
Main duties of the job
To support the pharmacist and carry out the dispensing processes for CBMP on site.
The dispensing of CMBP is subject to strict regulations to prevent the diversion and misuse, as well as being unlicensed medicines.
A Pharmacy dispensing technician working for CB1 Pharmacy will work within their clinical competencies as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide support to the Pharmacist for the day to day running of the pharmacy, ensure all queries are dealt with accordingly in a timely manner, dispensing of Cannabis based medicinal products and the delivery of medication is assembled accordingly.
This role is pivotal to improving the quality of care and operational efficiencies so requires motivation and passion to deliver an excellent service.

Job responsibilities
- As a pharmacy technician for CB1 Pharmacy, you will be part of a MDT liaising regularly with the pharmacist, consultants, other professionals within CB1 Pharmacy and most importantly patients.
- Ideal candidates will be literate using computers, with ability to prioritize tasks and answer phone and email queries efficiently it is a fast pace working environment with the ideal candidate being able to multi-task.
- To select, label and dispense correct items in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients;
- To create and update patient medication records in accordance with data protection principles to ensure patient confidentiality;
- To assist with stock control and inventory procedures to maximise availability and minimise waste, liaising with named wholesalers on daily basis when ordering stock as per requirement for business needs.
- Ensuring imported CBMP is available for patients in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all regulations are met with respect to ordering, receiving, storing, and supplying CBMP.
- Maintaining the necessary records required for CBMP to GPHC standards.

- Having good telephone manner and computer literacy skills is essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills and multitasking skills are essential.
- You will work in a dynamic, process driven environment ensuring all processes are executed in timely manner and correctly.
