Job summary

Jessop Medical Practice is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic professional administration assistant to join our practice team. We are a large friendly training practice with modern purpose built premises.

The successful applicant will have a good standard of general education, be computer literate, organised and with excellent communication skills. Previous experience in an administrative environment preferred. The post is for 30 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the role will involve managing the practice long term condition review process to ensure patients are invited for their review within a specified time period. The successful candidate will be responsible for running reports, generating recall letters/text invites and ensuring long term conditions are coded correctly within the clinical system.

You will also be responsible for any other admin duties as requested.

Job Summary:

The administrative function is an important part of the Practice team.

The main responsibilities of the role is to manage the practice long term condition recall system which involves generating reports and sending out invites to patients via letter or text message.

Ensuring the clinical system is coded correctly.

Working closely with the practice QI and Project lead.

Participating in the monthly QOF meetings

Liaising with clinicians and other team members regarding patient recalls.

Other administrative duties as required.

The post holder should have the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with patients, doctors, colleagues and other agencies.
