Contract: Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave 9 months
Hours per week: up to 30 hours per week
Location of work: Primarily based at Chapel Street Medical Centre and our
Mayfield Medical Centre branch site.
This will include working a Saturday morning on a rota basis. You will be required to work across both
sites.
We are looking to welcome a Fixed Term Practice Nurse to cover maternity
leave working alongside our existing nursing team.
Main duties of the job
You will be fully proficient in Treatment Room duties including but not limited to child and adult injections and vaccinations, cervical screening, contraceptive reviews, wound care.
About us
Chapel Street Medical Centre and our branch site Mayfield Medical Centre have a current list size of approx. 12,500 patients. Our main Chapel Street site is based in Spondon Village, Derby with our Mayfield branch site being based approx. 3 miles away in Chaddesden, Derby.
We have recently invested in a major refurbishment project of both our sites to provide a better environment for both staff and patients.
We are a multidisciplinary Practice utilising a wide range of skills.Our team consists of 5 Partners, 4 Salaried GP's, 5 Nurses, Mental Health Practitioner, HCA, Management Team, Prescribing Team, Reception, Admin, Secretarial and PCN Staff.
We are an innovative team and have developed our own Signposting system to ensure patients are booked in with the most appropriate clinician
