Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Central Surgery. The surgery is a training practice where you would be working alongside an exceptional multi-disciplinary team supported by ANPs, Clinical Pharmacist, Social prescribers, Care Coordinators and many other in-house services such as physiotherapy. This is an opportunity to work within a truly complementary, integrated care team offering many opportunities for career development.

Main duties of the job

  • 4 Sessions per week

  • Supported and encouraged to develop specialist interests

  • Contribute to a progressive, forward thinking team

  • Minimal home visiting also supported by Acute Visiting Service

  • PCN in the process of developing a MDT frailty hub support home visiting.

  • Qualified GP
  • MRCGP
  • Vocational Training Certificate OR Equivalent JCPTGP
  • General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)

Experience

  • Experience of working in a primary care environment
  • Experience of continued professional development
  • Experience of QOF and clinical audit
  • Minimum of two years as a salaried GP
  • General understanding of the GMS contract
  • Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong IT skills
  • Clear, polite telephone manner
  • Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
  • EMIS user skills
  • Effective time management (Planning & Organising)
  • Ability to work as a team member and autonomously
