Are you a Respiratory Specialised Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity?
Elgar House Surgery are looking for a Motivated and Friendly person to provide a first class nursing service to practice patients, working closely with healthcare colleagues and in collaboration with the GPs on a Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
Main duties of the job

To provide a high-quality service to all our
respiratory patient

To maintain and look after our Asthma, COPD and
Respiratory Disease registers.

To perform detailed diagnostic tests e.g., reversibility
testing and monitoring, pulse oximetry

To follow diagnostic pathways and recognised
guidelines

To use protocols to guide diagnostic and
therapeutic options.

Discuss treatment options with the Clinicians.

Referral of patients when necessary to community or
secondary care

Discuss and develop self-management plans and
education with patients.

Demonstrate specialist knowledge, competence and
clinical skills in respiratory care and management appropriate to the needs of
the patient.

Assume accountability and responsibility for
delivery of care including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and referral.

Work well as part of a team

To keep up to date with current guidelines &

Overview of your organisation
Our team consists of 4 GP partners, 7 Salaried GPs, a Clinical Pharmacist, 2 NPs, 3 PNs, 3 HCAs, a very supportive management and administrative team.
