About us

The Fuller and Forbes Healthcare Group is one of the UKs leading independent primary care organisations, operating GP contracts across 17 practice centres nationally, serving around 120,000 patients. In addition the group runs community contracts serving a variety of patient groups.

The group is at a pivotal moment. Since its inception in 2018 the group has grown exponentially from 4k patients utilising a wide range of technological approaches to improve patient access and care. The group now needs a role to help the technology it is developing transform and define the business moving forward.

The groups technology arm, Smart General Practice Ltd, develops products including Smart Navigation (a clinical decision-support and navigation tool), Smart Consult, Smart Fit Note, Smart Med Checker, Smart Cue, Smart Complaint Responder and Smart Medical Report. It is currently leading the way on building an automated, voice-enabled patient triage system in partnership with Answer Digital.

The ambition is to create health technology that works at scale across the groups own practices and can then be offered commercially to the wider primary care market.

This CTO role is the most significant hire in the groups next chapter. The successful candidate will shape not just how the practices operate, but what the group becomes.
