An exciting opportunity has arisen at Millcroft Medical Centre for an Administration Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking individual who can work autonomously or as part of our large Multi-disciplinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of Administration support to the practice team.

We are a growing practice with a population of over 30,000 patients working within a purpose built practice in Crewe, Cheshire. We are an EMIS web, DOCMAN, Accurx, paper light practice.

Our current team has a full compliment of allied health professionals including, GP partners, Salaried GP's, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, First Contact Practitioners, SPLW's, Pharmacists, Business Manager, Practice Manager and a compliment of highly skilled support staff.

Job responsibilities

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties will include, but are not limited to, supporting the Senior Management team in the planning, maintaining and monitoring of the appointment book. Monitoring stock levels and ordering appropriately. Supporting the Educational lead and GP trainers to ensure appropriate induction, work plans and sessions setups for any Trainees working with the practice. To support staff with the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the practice team. Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers as required.
