General Practice Manager

Job summary

We are looking for a candidate with management experience who wishes to develop their career in general practice management .We are a friendly practice which values mutual support, communication, and learning.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their enthusiasm, communication and problem-solving skills and an ability to balance and prioritise competing workloads.

Main duties of the job

Your key duties will be to lead on ensuring a smooth day to day operations of the business. Supporting the GPs and other managers where needed. The job role will include Dealing with the day to day administrative duties of the job role. Ensuring that the practice is fully compliant with CQC requirements and optimising QOF Performance. All aspects of HR and managing staff. This will include recruitment and training. You will also lead on reviewing and updating all practice policies and procedures, Risk Assessments, Information Governance Managing complaints, Significant Events and Safeguarding. PPG involvement . Responding and resolving all local IT issues where appropriate.

To Work closely with key members of our team to uphold the highest standards. Actively be involved in continually improving how we do things for both staff and patients. Lead and motivate our team to drive their own performance, quality and pride in their work.

We are a practice dedicated to offering exceptional healthcare services to our patients. The practice is currently serving approximately 8000 patients and we moved into purpose built premises in November 2023.
