Main duties of the job

We are seeking a fully qualified GP to join our partnership which currently consists of 3 GPs and Business Manager. All partners have core responsibilities and lead areas which ensures a well-led and effectively run Practice - the successful candidate will contribute and take ownership of lead areas taking into account interests, skill set and experience; a keen interest in training is desirable as we look to expand our training portfolio.

Supporting the team with day to day clinical responsibilities, ensuring quick turnaround for reports via IGPR and delivery of digital technology and communication modes to continue a stream lined and reliable service.

About us

Warwick Gates Family Heath Centre is located within Warwick, Warwickshire and close to the Town of Leamington Spa; part of the South Leamington Primary Care Network and currently delivering Primary Care Services to approx 11,500 patients.

Our team consists of 8 GPs (including 3 GP Partners), 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 GPNs and HCA; the clinical team are supported by our Practice/Business Manager, Reception Manager, Operations and Systems Lead, Medical Secretaries plus receptionists and administrative staff.

Whilst clinicians work autonomously, there is an effective network of support readily at hand and ideas and concerns shared at weekly meetings. We have a robust governance process with timetable of meetings consisting of Safeguarding/Vulnerable (including actions monitoring tracker), Quality & Perfomance (including Performance Dashboard), Learning/Significant Events, Staff/Operational (all staff monthly),

We endeavor to ensure that patient and staff engagement are at the heart of our decision making; with a strong focus on staff well-being and personal/professional development ensuring our Team are supported to reach their maximum potential which is evident in our low staff turn over and long standing staff members.

We are a high performing Practice with a strong focus on Prescribing, QOF and Impact & Investment Fund outcomes, currently supporting Medical Students annually.
