Job summary

AshLea Medical Practice are now recruiting a diligent and proactive Finance & Payroll Assistant (part-time), to be based at Linden House Surgery in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Main duties of the job

  • Checking and processing of invoices, credit card statements, staff expenses
  • Raising Payments in the bank to pay suppliers
  • Reconciliation of supplier and bank statements
  • Assist with Practice claiming process
  • Raising invoices as required
  • Collation and processing of monthly payroll data in a timely manner, working with payroll provider
  • Assist Finance Manager with data analysis and reporting
  • Purchasing of stationery and ancillary items for practice use

About us

We are a friendly and welcoming 2 site practice in Ashtead and Leatherhead in Surrey. Our multi-disciplinary team includes Associate GPs, GPwSIs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and a multi-skilled Practice Nurse team.

We serve approximately 21,000 patients. We have close links and are actively involved in the Leatherhead Primary Care Network and GP Health Partners GP Federation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checking and processing of invoices, credit card statements, staff expenses
  • Raising Payments in the bank to pay suppliers

  • Good communication skills - both external and internal / written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Takes personal responsibility for getting things done.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solution focused approach
