Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and patient-focused individual with excellent communication skills to join our team as a Patient Services Manager. Within this role, you will be responsible for efficient management of the front of house team, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and to a high standard.
Main duties of the job
- Line managing all Patient Care Coordinators, supporting staff development and promoting best practice.
- Compiling doctor/staff rotas and room allocations (including absence cover)
- Assist with team inductions
- Reviewing and update appropriate office and Care Coordinator policies and procedures.
- Support the management team in compiling practice reports and practice development plans and processes as required.
- Maintain an effective appointment system.
- Manage all patient complaints, concerns and queries.
- Supportive role in health and safety including fire marshal duties.
- Act as Wellbeing Champion supporting management in developing a Well Being Strategy.
- Events management coordinating all aspects of social gatherings, parties as required.
About us
We are a 2 site practice located in Ashtead and Leatherhead in Surrey, with 10 partners and approximately 60 staff, our multi-disciplinary team includes Associate GPs, GPwSIs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and a multi-skilled Practice Nurse team.
We serve approximately 22,000 patients. We have close links and are actively involved in the Leatherhead Primary Care Network and GP Health Partners GP Federation.
