Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated hard working General Practice Nurse with minor illness experience to join our friendly GP training practice, as part of the nursing team. Providing primary care services for a population of approximately 11,700 people in Kiveton and the surronding area.

Main duties of the job

To assist in and perform care related patient care as directed by the GPs.

Responsible for attending to patients with a variety of issues who wish to be seen by a health care professional, diagnosing, treating, reviewing patients and referring as necessary, in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs.

It is envisaged that the post holder will expand their role in accordance with practice requirements and their scope of practice.

We are a five partner practice working with a number of salaried colleagues and a supportive, effective and friendly practice team.

Long established sole village practice with 11,700 patients. We use theEMIS Web clinical system and work over two sites.

We are a training practice and part of Rother Valley South Primary Care Network.
