Salisbury Medical Practice
is looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Team
Assistant to join our expanding Pharmacy Team on an Apprenticeship programme.
As a Pharmacy Team Assistant, you will
be working alongside the Practice Pharmacist/s and Pharmacy Technician/s to
provide efficient administrative support and to assist in the processing of patient
data whilst adhering to Practice policies and procedures. The Pharmacy Team Assistant will work closely
with the Pharmacy team to gain a wider knowledge of the functionalities and the
administrative side of the Pharmacy Team
We are looking for people who have
experience in working with other people and have a desire to further their
education to gain a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. Applicants should have good organisational
and communication skills as a minimum as well as being competent in using IT
and computers.
Main duties of the job
The apprenticeship provides a highly
transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours which can be gained
working across an organisation and its processes. Some examples of these include
“Decision making”, “IT”, “Interpersonal skills”, “Project management”, “Professionalism”,
“External factors” and “Business fundamentals”.

This is an Apprenticeship position for
between 30 to 37.5 hours per week and the salary is national minimum wage for
Apprentice’s. The Apprenticeship course
is typically 18 months in length (this does not include the EPA (end point
assessment). Upon completion of the
Apprenticeship, there may be a permanent position available for the right
Apprentice at Salisbury Medical Practice.
