Job summary
The Panton Practice is seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team on a 12-month fixed term contract from August 2026, to provide maternity leave cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a GP looking for 5 to 6 sessions per week within a well-established and forward-thinking practice committed to delivering high quality patient care.
Sessions available
The post will include:
2 sessions on a Thursday
2 sessions on a Friday
The remaining 1 to 2 sessions can be worked on a Monday and/or Tuesday.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will provide a full range of general practice services, including routine and urgent consultations, assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions, home visits where required, prescribing, clinical administration, and appropriate referral and follow-up of patients. The role will involve working collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care, while maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting the day-to-day clinical needs of the practice.
