The E4 Primary Care Network are seeking a motivated & proactive individual to join our expanding PCN team.
We are looking for a experienced GP Reception Coordinator to provide a high quality, professional administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others as well as to act within your professional boundaries, supporting a team of clinicians working within Handsworth Medical Practice.

Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic and motivated Coordinator with previous experience of leading a busy Practice reception team for our fast paced and friendly Practice Team within our PCN to help ensure there is high quality administrative leadership support to our reception team.
You will possess strong leadership skills and experience of a previous supervisory/management position.
You will be expected to oversee daily operations of reception as well as motivating and supporting staff to deliver high quality services. You will need to demonstrate leadership and management skills to ensure the practice meets its objectives within an efficient and effective working environment.
You will be deal with queries face-to-face, on the phone and via email. For this reason the post holder will have excellent communication and spelling skills alongside the ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to working with the Assistant PM to manage staff rotas, managing clinical room rotas, managing patient complaints managing reception staff HR issues and appointment management.
Candidates must have strong organizational, prioritization and leadership skills, and be able to remain focused in pressured situations. You must show that you are an approachable person to work with and have the ability to manage teams, in particular designating work fairly.

The E4 Primary Care Network is a Primary Care Network (PCN) based in Chingford, London. The PCN consists' of 5 member practices with a list size of approx. 53000 who work collectively to provide proactive, efficient and effective care to our patients.

This role is fundamental to the smooth running of the practice, specifically the practice reception and is a unique role.
To lead the reception team working alongside the
two part time Reception Supervisors to ensure the professional and efficient
running of reception.
To provide a point of communication between the
Reception Supervisors / Receptionists / Clinical Staff & Admin Team.
To liaise with the Assistant Practice Manager to
ensure the smooth running of the Reception Area.
To Assist the Assistant Practice Manager with
the Clinical Rota.
To Assist the Assistant Practice Manager with
the Reception Staff Rotas / Holiday Requests and Sick Leave ensuring that we
have appropriate cover in reception at all times.
Assess the training needs of staff in the
reception area
Set up weekly work plans with the Reception
Supervisors to ensure that Reception Tasks are carried out regularly
To update the weekly Emergency Rotas
To assist the Assistant Practice Manager with
running reports for the various QOF / IIF / CQC reports and helping the
Assistant Practice Manager to manage the recall process for the Practice.
To assist the Assistant Practice Manager with
dealing with complaints and significant events
To ensure that all staff are trained on the
opening up and locking up the practice.
To ensure that all staff in reception are
logging into their NHS email accounts / Tasks and Notifications on a daily
basis.
To ensure that all Home Visits are recorded
To delegate general housekeeping duties in the
Reception Area.
To delegate the rota for the filing of Patient
records.
To work closely with the two Reception
Supervisors and the Assistant Practice Manager to ensure all tasks necessary to
the efficiency of the Reception Area and Protocols relevant to Reception Area
are carried out at all times
