Job summary

Reporting to the Head of Experience you will be responsible for all administration pertaining to customers, notes, records and results. Working in conjunction the rest of the admin team you will ensure that you put the patient at the heart of your work and meet agreed aims and objectives within an efficient, safe and effective working environment.

You will be accountable for ensuring that the practice policies and procedures are followed, help the clinical team provide a high level of care for all our patients ensuring that we deliver this in a caring and supportive environment and in a timely fashion.

You will develop good working relationships with:

Patients

Other teams as well as other admin staff

Peers

Practice Managers and the Senior Management Team

GP, nurses and other surgery staff

Other local healthcare providers who work with the Surgery

Main duties of the job

To support service delivery and patient care within the team you lead in line with organisational, local and national guidelines.

To provide support and enable the admin team to delivery within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Ensure SLAs are delivered in a timely manner for all face to face, telephone and administrative tasks.

To have an awareness of how the Admin team fit within the wider organisation of Green Valleys Health and delivers a standard of service which underpins the organisational ethos and values.

To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post holders role as agreed with the Head of Engagement.

Attending training and events organised by the Practice or other agencies, where appropriate.
