Job summary
This is an exciting new role, within a Primary Care setting working as part of the Richmond Surgery/Fleet PCN team, where you will be using your skills to support and complement our existing team of clinicians, providing and monitoring patient centred care, across the patient population.
You will be a Registered Nursing Associate, who is motivated, proactive, committed and with excellent communication skills. You will work independently under the leadership of our Registered Nurses, supporting with all aspects of nursing care and improving on the safety and quality of patient care at every opportunity.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Provide continuing care to patients across the
practice population.
Treatment room duties in line with competency e.g.
Suture/clip removal, Basic & complex wound care, ECG. Phlebotomy,
Urinalysis. Monitoring and support of the management of patients with long-term
conditions / chronic diseases, using a holistic patient centred approach.
Partake in Practice/PCN MDT, supporting the co-ordination and management of
patients living in Care Home. Support patients to improve and maintain their
mental and physical health and wellbeing. Assist with the co-ordination of
Infection Control policy and audit. Chaperone patients when required.
Requirements: Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC
register. Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification. GCSE Grade A-C in
Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent

Richmond Surgery is an
expanding, forwarding thinking practice based in a quiet suburb of Fleet,
Hampshire. With 14300 registered
patients we are a busy surgery, yet all our teams both clinical and admin are
supportive, friendly and work closely together to ensure excellent service
provision to our patients. The Practice
is purpose built, but we have plans for significant structural development in
the coming years to increase capacity both patients and staff from all teams.
We are a PMS Practice
with 5 full time GP Partners and a Managing Partner. Richmond Surgery is also the lead Practice
for Fleet PCN with 2 of our GP Partners sharing the CD role and our Managing
Partner is Fleet PCN Manager.
