Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, varied skillsets administrator with good IT skills and with the desire to learn and succeed.
A medical background is not required as full training with ongoing daily support will be provided in all areas.
Remuneration will be in line
with experience, but we offer generous pay and annual leave. The hours required are 27.5 per week over 4
fixed working days. This may be open to
negotiation for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the safe and confidential processing of patient and clinical documentation, both hard copy and electronic. You will support the Admin team, comply with the Practices Policies and Procedures and be reportable in the first instance to the Practice Administrator. As part of our general practice team your duties will contribute towards meeting the needs and care of our patients and will support the delivery of the Practices Mission Statement. In return we will support your growth with full training and progression should this be desired.

Richmond Surgery is an
expanding, forwarding thinking practice based in a quiet suburb of Fleet,
Hampshire. With 14300 registered
patients we are a busy surgery, yet all our teams both clinical and admin are
supportive, friendly and work closely together to ensure excellent service
provision to our patients. The Practice
is purpose built, but we have plans for significant structural development in
the coming years to increase capacity both patients and staff from all teams.
We are a progressive, forward thinking PMS
Practice with 5 full time GP Partners and a Managing Partner. Our
clinical system is EMIS Web, and we use ICE, Docman. We are a Yellow Fever Centre, high QoF
achievers and rated Good for CQC. We received a high level of praise from
patients and excellent feedback on NHS Choices.

enjoy variety in their work and a desire to ensure a high level of
documentation processing is achieved daily. Whilst the position is primarily the
scanning of confidential medical documentation from a variety of
multi-disciplinary teams and secondary care both hard copy and electronically,
there will be involvement with other admin duties to support the Practice
Administrator and her assistant ensuring variety and a very interesting role.
The
preparation of fee invoices and minimal credit control is also available as
part of this position should the successful candidate possess experience in
basic book keeping.
