Job summary
We are looking for a GP to work up to 6 sessions
The post-holder will manage a patient caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Main duties of the job
- Support GP partners, and manage clinical caseload
- Develop appropriate healthcare services for a diverse patient list.
- Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits.
- Develop care plans, provide counselling, and health education. Admit/discharge patients, record consultation notes
- Undertake all normal duties of a GP. Comply with policies, ensure lifelong learning, contribute to audits and clinical standards.
- Contribute to patient records and attend training/events.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow health and safety guidelines. Support equality, diversity, and patients' rights. Participate in mentorship and supervision.
- Engage in continued education and professional development. Strive to maintain quality, alert team members, and manage time effectively.
- Communicate with team members, patients, and carers. Apply policies and guidelines, participate in clinical audits.
- The Salaried GP manage patient caseload, ensuring high standards of care for all patients.
