Job summary

Need a Part time or Full time (16 hrs or 35 hrs) Receptionist/ Administrator. Applicant will need to be flexible with a minimum of 1 year receptionist/admin experience in a NHS GP Environment. We preferred candidate previous experience with Emis-web system.

Main duties of the job

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice

  • Answering calls and dealing with it

  • Documenting, Scanning, issue repeat prescriptions, action emails

  • Deal with all general enquiries, explain procedures and make new and follow-up appointments.

About us

We are a friendly small practice in a purpose built building with excellent support structures and training. We are close to the A12/M25, Romford, Harold hill, we have free onsite parking facilities, and are close to large gym and shops.

      • Ensure an effective and efficient reception service is provided to patients and any other visitors to the practice

      • Answering calls and dealing with it

      • Documenting

      • Enter requests for home visits into the visit book, ensuring careful recording of all relevant details and where necessary refer to Duty Doctor.

      • Action repeat prescription requests and ensure that they are ready for collection by the patient either on the computer or manually.
