About us

We are an accredited GP-training Practice, and encouraging learning and development for all our staff is part of our ethos. Mentoring, training and teaching opportunities will be readily available to our new GPs.

St Georges is a successful and thriving medium-sized rural Practice with 12,800 patients, based in a modern purpose-built building. We are rated as Good with Outstanding features by CQC and rated 5-stars by our patients on NHS Choices. We achieve 100% QOF each year, run a dispensary, and offer innovative services such as hosting community outreach chemotherapy, and screening services. We host secondary care services from our building wherever we can to support networks and relationships.

One of our two GP Partners is the Clinical Director of the local Primary Care Network, itself a highly-regarded and progressive PCN.

We use SystmOne with the Ardens support tool. We also use the askmyGP patient online communication software.
