Job Summary:
Working under the direct supervision
of the Practice Management Team to support data
administration areas within the practice.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviewing medical records and
producing an accurate summary of the patients medical history.
Please note it is practice policy that staff members and their immediate households may not also be patients at Hightown Surgery
Main duties of the job
Data Entry Support
Enter test results and consultation data into patient records ensuring accuracy and compliance with current practice policy.
Action clinical letters and GP requests via the workflow system under the practice protocol to ensure the correct coding of patient data is entered onto the practice clinical system (EMIS).
Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patients notes via Docman 10 clinical system.
Action GP2GP transfer of electronic notes ensuring online visibility is actioned if applicable re: Safeguarding (sensitive information)
Review incoming patient paper notes and add clinical coding as appropriate.
Provide cover/support to other teams within the practice as and when required.

looking for a Data Administrator to join our lovely team.

Ensure security of data
in accordance with the Data Protection Act/GDPR/Information Governance.
